The eX700 series has been awarded DNV GL certification for maritime applications. The IoT controller by EXOR has been certified in accordance Class Guidelines DNVGL-CG-0339, November 2015. In addition, DNV-GL confirms the eX700 series compliance for the bridge mounted components where the ‘Compass safe distance’ was measured according to section 11.2 of IEC 60945 4th edition (2002).

The entire eX700 series is now available for use in many ship, offshore units, high speed and light craft applications. The construction of the eX700 series has clear advantages when installed in vessels and in harsh maritime conditions. With no internal cable connections, no requirement for shock absorbers or any other auxiliary installation equipment.

Typical applications include:
secure bridge systems,
electronic chart display and information systems,
vessel information systems,
voyage data recorders,
offshore monitoring and control applications,
dynamic positioning systems,
condition monitoring for power transmission and power distribution systems or as the master or SCADA station in integrated automation systems.
